At Halne Fjellstugu, we prepare home-made traditional food of high quality. The nature on Hardangervidda is generous, and the ingredients used when preparing the restaurant meals are fished, hunted, and harvested locally.

The menu offers dishes such as fried mountain trout, reindeer stew, venison cakes, sour cream porridge, cloudberry soup and homemade ice cream.

We serve a 3-course dinner every evening at 19:00. In addition, we have an extensive à la carte menu, and a licence to serve alcoholic beverages. Halne Fjellstugu is the perfect place to enjoy a tasty meal for both staying guests, people from nearby cabins, locals, and passers-by.

The atmosphere in the restaurant is cosy, down to earth, and authentic.

We sell local food and handicrafts at our reception.

Breakfast from 08.00-09.30
À la carte from 13.00-18.00
3-course dinner at 19.00
