Halne Fjellstugu is the home of the boat called Halnekongen.
The popular boat route has been operating since 1954, when the dam at Sleipa was built.
Take the boat across the Halnefjord as the start of a hiking trip, or as a round trip. We also recommend renting our cabin Halnefjordhytta for one or more nights. Halnekongen goes from Halne Fjellstugu to Skaupa/Sleipa.
The crossing takes about 40 minutes and there is room for 37 passengers on board. It is not necessary to pre-order tickets during the months when Halnekongen has a regular time schedule.
IMPORTANT INFO: All guests that are staying at Halne Fjellstugu are guaranteed a boat ticket the following day (the time may then be earlier than the scheduled timetables). So if you/you have booked accommodation and want boat transport, contact us at post@halne.no to order ticket.
