On Hardangervidda it is possible to get a fishing license for most of the lakes, and at Halne you can purchase fishing licenses for streams and lakes on Hardangervidda. Ice fishing is allowed throughout the winter, and the fishing season lasts from when the ice melts on the water until mid-September. The hosts at Halne are all keen and experienced when it comes to trout fishing and very happy to give advice on where you will have the best chance to catch the mountain trout.
